Cedarbrook Lavender and Herb Farm was started by Karman McReynolds in 1967 and was the first commercial herb farm in Washington State. This farming tradition is carried on today by the Stachurski family, who maintains and cultivates the gardens surrounding The Bell House, homestead of Sequim pioneers.
Our farm offers over 70 varieties of lavender and more than 200 varieties of culinary landscaping and medicinal herbs. We are also pleased to offer a selection of gardening products and helpful advice. We invite you to visit the farm soon! Guests can enjoy a full day on the farm: stroll the gardens; find a thoughtful gift for anyone, regardless of gender or age (or perhaps a little something for yourself!) in the historic Bell House gift shop; relax with a book on the patio; bird watch, or simply enjoy the wonderful view.
The farm is an ideal garden setting for weddings, receptions, bridal showers, and festive functions from spring through fall. We invite you to join us any time and celebrate purple fields swaying in the breeze, the heady aroma of sun kissed flowers, a taste of lavender, the sound of music, and bees humming blissfully in the fields.
The Bell House Gift Shop is located in an historic100-year-old farmhouse. Pioneer John Bell came to Sequim from Scotland, and built the home in the late 1800s. Bell is reported to have been the first white settler in the area. Over 1200 square feet of herbal gifts are available in the historic home, along with stunning views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Mount Baker. Our customers say they really enjoy shopping in a slice of history. Every visitor’s first comment on entering The Bell House Gift Shop is "Oh, it smells so good in here!" The next comment is usually "Oh, look at the ceiling!" The gift shop ceiling is one of the many places we use to hang dry our lavender, herbs and flowers, which makes the ceiling just beautiful!
We invite you to visit our farm on a regular basis—the Cedarbrook fairy adds something new each week to delight your eye.
