Mary Lynn Maloney

Mary Lynn Maloney, Port Townsend, Washington assemblage artist

Since she was given the serious job of monitoring the art supply cupboard by her second grade teacher, Mary Lynn Maloney has been hooked on art and all the fabulous materials that are part of the creative process. She has been writing articles and designing art and craft projects for magazines and books since 1999. She hopes that her project ideas will ignite the creative spark that she believes lies in everyone.

Mary Lynn has a background in graphic design and a degree in arts and humanities. Her love of travel, literature, history, the arts, and all things quirky have greatly influenced her eye for design. Along with her work in the craft industry, Mary Lynn is a mixed media, found-object artist. Her collage and assemblage art can be seen at the Port Townsend Gallery in downtown Port Townsend, or online at her website: www.topfloordesigns.net. Mary Lynn lives in Port Townsend with her husband, Victor Judd, and two "big-boned" cats, Simba and Loki.
