Established in 1998, Sorensen Cellars is a small family winery dedicated to the limited production of premium wines at affordable pricing.
Great Wines are made from outstanding grapes. Our philosophy is to seek out the superior vineyards in Washington State. We take into consideration soils, sub-soils, drainage, orientation of the vineyards to the sun, climate, and smart vineyard management as critical factors in the production of exceptional fruit.
At Sorensen Cellars we age our wines in French Oak Barrels, imparting character and structure yet aiming for balance, allowing the natural fruit characters to dominate the wine. Blending wines is a craft unto itself. We take great pride in selecting the wines used to create a single varietal or using several varietals to create a blend. We offer two labels: Sorensen, being our premium label, and Townsend Bay, which is oriented towards fun and value.

Sorensen Cellars has received a gold medal for its 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon and a silver medal for its 2002 Cabernet Franc in the 'Wines of Washington' Festival.
